Terms & Conditions
These terms apply specifically to VOUX Sites, including public Sites, enquiries and Site-management features.
1. About VOUX Sites
VOUX Sites provides public professional pages for businesses, experts and professional practices. A Site may present profile information, products, services, clients, endorsements, locations and ways for visitors to send enquiries. These Terms govern access to and use of those public pages and the related Site-management, enquiry, verification and account features.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using VOUX Sites, you agree to comply with these Terms and the policies linked below. If you use VOUX Sites on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it and that the organization is also bound by these Terms.
3. Eligibility and lawful use
You may use VOUX Sites only for lawful professional or business purposes and only where you are legally able to enter into the relevant agreement. You must comply with applicable laws, regulations and professional obligations when publishing information, contacting another party or entering into a business relationship.
4. Accounts, owners and managers
Site owners and authorized managers are responsible for keeping account credentials secure, maintaining accurate account information and controlling who is permitted to manage a Site. Actions taken through an authorized account may be treated as actions of the account holder unless there is evidence of unauthorized access.
5. Site content and accuracy
Site owners and managers are responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of information they publish, including descriptions, locations, products, services, client references, images and other business information. Information must not be misleading, deceptive, unlawfully copied or presented in a way that creates a false impression of affiliation, endorsement or qualification.
6. Verification and trust information
Verification, client information, endorsements, ratings and similar trust signals are intended to provide context to visitors. A verification indicator reflects only the checks completed for the relevant information or account. It does not guarantee quality, solvency, suitability, future conduct, successful performance or the outcome of a transaction.
7. Enquiries and communications
Visitors may use available enquiry features to contact a Site for genuine professional or business reasons. Information submitted in an enquiry may be shared with the relevant Site owner or authorized manager so they can respond. Users must not use enquiry tools for spam, harassment, phishing, deceptive solicitation, automated bulk messaging or unlawful communications.
8. Business relationships and transactions
VOUX Sites helps parties discover information and begin conversations. Unless a specific feature expressly states otherwise, any proposal, quotation, contract, professional engagement, purchase, payment, delivery, refund, warranty or dispute that follows is between the participating parties. Each party is responsible for its own due diligence and commercial decisions.
9. Plans, payments and promotional offers
Where paid plans, publishing fees, coupons or other payment features are offered, the price, billing period, limits and applicable conditions shown at the time of purchase form part of the transaction. Promotional codes may be subject to eligibility, expiry, usage limits or plan restrictions. Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment providers and may also be subject to their terms.
10. Intellectual property
Site owners retain ownership of content they lawfully submit. By submitting content, they grant VOUX Sites the rights reasonably necessary to host, reproduce, format, display and technically process that content for operating and presenting the Site and related features. Users must not copy, distribute or commercially exploit another party’s content unless they have permission or a lawful right to do so.
11. Service security and prohibited conduct
You must not attempt unauthorized access, bypass security controls, probe vulnerabilities, introduce malicious code, interfere with service availability, scrape protected or non-public information, misuse automated tools, or use VOUX Sites in a way that could harm another person, the service or its infrastructure. Additional rules are set out in the Acceptable Use Policy.
12. Moderation, suspension and removal
We may review, restrict, suspend or remove content, a Site or access where reasonably necessary to address suspected violations, fraud, misleading information, security threats, legal requirements, non-payment where applicable, or material risk to users or the integrity of VOUX Sites. Where appropriate, we may request additional information before restoring access.
13. Availability, maintenance and changes
VOUX Sites may be updated, improved, temporarily unavailable or changed from time to time. Features may be modified, replaced, suspended or discontinued where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, operational reasons or product development. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
14. Third-party services and links
VOUX Sites may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment providers, hosting, communications or external websites. Those services are controlled by their respective providers and may have separate terms and privacy practices. VOUX Sites is not responsible for third-party content or services outside its control.
15. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, VOUX Sites is provided on an “as available” basis. Public Site information is generally supplied by Site owners or managers. Visitors should independently evaluate information that is important to a business, financial, legal or professional decision.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VOUX Sites will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising solely from use of the service, reliance on user-supplied Site content, or business dealings between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
17. Responsibility for claims
Where permitted by law, a Site owner or manager is responsible for claims resulting from content they publish, rights they do not possess, unlawful use of the service or material breach of these Terms. This provision does not limit any rights that a consumer or other protected user may have under applicable law.
18. Termination and continued obligations
You may stop using VOUX Sites at any time. Provisions that by their nature should continue after access ends—including responsibilities relating to intellectual property, confidentiality, disputes, liability and prior transactions—may continue to apply.
19. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when VOUX Sites changes, legal requirements evolve or additional protections are needed. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms will apply from their effective date, subject to applicable law.
20. Related policies
Use of VOUX Sites is also subject to the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Disclaimer. These documents should be read together with these Terms.
